The ICC released their new rankings following the conclusion of the first Test between Pakistan and South Africa and thus named Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane at No.4, No.6, and No.8 position respectively.

Kohli missed as many as three Tests in the recently-concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which resulted in a considerable drop in Virat Kohli’s ratings but the No.4 ranking has remained as it was.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah, two of India’s bowling spearheads, who had three incredible Test matches, are the only two Indians in the top 10 of the bowling rankings. While Ashwin is static at No.8, Bumrah, with 757 rating points, is on the 10th spot. The list is led by Pat Cummins followed by Stuart Broad and Neil Wagner.

England’s Ben Stokes is at the top of the pile among the Test all-rounders with Jason Holder securing the second position. Ravindra Jadeja (419) and Ashwin (281) retained the third and sixth place on the chart.
