St Lucia Zouks plays their final game of the CPL 2019 league stage as they travel to Barbados to face the Tridents in a must-win game on Monday. St Lucia boosted it’s chances of qualification with a crucial win over the Tallawahs which took them to the seven points. On the other hand, Barbados Tridents are slowly gaining momentum with the arrivals of Harry Gurney and Shakib Al Hasan also boding well for Jason Holder’s side. They are in a better position with another match left for them to play. Nevertheless, both teams will look for the win and inch further in the competition.
A decent batting track awaits both sides with the pacers getting some help from the surface. Although it might be tough going initially, batters should bide their time in order to achieve a par score of around 170 with the spinners also coming into play as the match progresses.
There isn’t any threat of rain with the temperatures hovering around 26 to 30 degrees. Dew might play a factor later on which forces captains to chase on this surface.
