Sawhney asked to go on leave due to “abrasive behaviour”

As per reports, Manu Sawhney has found himself in midst of trouble because of “abrasive behaviour” with his staff. It is learnt he was accused of the same in his previous employment in Singapore. Reports suggest, as many as 90 per cent of the employees deposed against Sawhney within ICC’s Dubai office.

Sawhney’s “authoritarian style of functioning”, say reports, was in high contrast with the more inclusive approach of his predecessor Richardson. And that hasn’t been received well by a lot of the ICC employees.
