Although Oman started off brightly, they find themselves in a must win situation courtesy of two losses to Jersey and Namibia. Their opponents, Hong Kong has faced an inconsistent campaign although they managed to sneak into the knockouts. The previous game between the two sides saw Oman clinch an easy win with Bilal Khan and Aqib Ilyas leading the way. With the Dubai International Cricket Stadium playing host to this game, the stakes are high for either side in this crucial clash.

Oman will head into this game as the favourites considering their depth in batting as well.

The likes of Aamir Kaleem and Simandeep Singh also a find alongside Scott McKenchie, who fills in as the lone wicket-keeper in the side. Bilal Khan should add more wickets to his tally of twelve while Ehsan Khan and Mohammad Nadeem should round the team off for this crucial encounter.
