‘Say whatever you want, don’t throw stuff’ – India left miffed after Siraj-crowd incident

India aren’t too happy with the English crowd by the looks of it. After copping racial abuse from the Aussie crowd, Mohammed Siraj was the receiving end of another incident on day one of the Leeds Test when the crowd threw a ball at him.

Apparently, India aren’t happy at all with the incident with Rishabh Pant highlighting it in the post-day press conference.

“I think, somebody threw a ball inside, at Siraj, so he [Kohli] was upset,” Pant said. “You can say whatever you want to chant, but don’t throw things at the fielders and all those things. It is not good for cricket, I guess.”

During the Lord’s Test, it was KL Rahul at the receiving end as the crowd threw corks at him. Virat Kohli had then asked Rahul to throw it back at them, clearly disappointed by their behaviour.

It is not clear if the pink ball thrown at Siraj was deliberately done and what type of ball it is. It is also not clear if India have raised an official complaint regarding the same.
