India Women vs South Africa Women ODI series 2021: Full Squad, Live Streaming, Where to Watch, Captain and Key Players
India Women will host South Africa Women in March, which will be their first international assignment in almost a year. The 16-day tour will feature five ODIs which will be followed by a three match T20I series. Last time, India featured in an international game, they were convincingly defeated by Australia Women in the T20 World Cup finals which took place last March.
Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow will play host to all the eight fixtures between the two nations. The first ODI will be held on 7th March with the tour coming to a conclusion on March 22, when the last T20I will be played.
Shikha Pandey, Ekta Bisht, Anuja Patil, Veda Krishnamurthy, Taniya Bhatia are some of the senior players missing from the squad. Meanwhile, C. Pratyusha, Yastika Bhatia, Ayushi Soni, Swetha Verma, Monica Patel, and Simran Dil Bahadur have earned their maiden call-ups.

The right-hander has amassed 6,888 in her career between 1999 and 2019 and has an extraordinary average of just over 50. She continues to remain a vital part of this Indian side and the hosts will be relying on her to come up with good performances.
Smriti Mandhana
Smriti Mandhana, the left-handed opener is another threat in the Indian batting lineup. Mandhana has a tremendous record in ODI cricket as she has accumulated over 2000 runs in just 51 matches, striking at an average of 43. She has a good record against South Africa, against whom she has scored 258 runs in seven innings at an average of just over 36.
Lizelle Lee
Lizelle Lee, the explosive South Africa opener is known for striking power and the ease with which she can clear the ropes. Lee has scored 2698 runs in her ODI career at an average of over 33. Lee can be a huge threat to the Indian side, if she stays in the middle for a vast amount of time.
Sune Luus
Sune Luus will lead her national side in the absence of the injured, Dane van Niekerk. Luus can contribute to the team with both bat and ball. The South African has played 82 ODIs, where she has scored 1212 runs and picked up 100 wickets so far. The visitors will be banking on their captain to produce match-winning performances against India.
