It was a double header Saturday in IPL 2020 with both the matches being last over chases of similar targets, and expected team winning both. This further widened the gap between the top-3 and rest of the teams. It was a quick fifty by AB de Villiers to light up the earlier chase, followed by maiden hundred by Shikhar Dhawan after a long wait to set up the latter chase. While de Villiers had just one four in his knock with 6 sixes, Dhawan had just one six with 14 fours. Slower fifties from Steven Smith and Faf du Plessis weren’t helpful for their respective teams. Let’s have a look at few numbers from the IPL 2020 double headers on Saturday.

Stats from RR vs RCB in IPL 2020

7 – Total fifties for Steve Smith in IPL in losing cause, while only 5 of them came in winning cause.

41 – Robin Uthappa’s score which is his highest in 17 innings in IPL, while he isn’t in the best of form. The last time he had a better score was 67* against KXIP in 2019, which was also his most recent fifty.

6 – This was the sixth consecutive innings where Virat Kohli scored 30+ runs in IPL 2020, which is now his highest such streak in IPL. He had 5 consecutive thirty-plus innings at the start of 2016 season.
