IPL 2020: Mumbai Indians v Delhi Capitals – Probable playing XI and team news
After a 4-day gap from their previous match against the Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday, the Mumbai Indians (MI) will be back in IPL action tonight, facing the Delhi Capitals (DC), who incidentally played their last game against the Royals as well.
Both teams have increased the loss count for Rajasthan Royals in their previous matches. While the Mumbai Indians, on the back of an excellent innings from Suryakumar Yadav scripted a 57-run victory, the Delhi Capitals bowlers incredibly defended a score of 184 at Sharjah.

Both teams won their away matches in the IPL last year. DC, in the 3rd IPL game last year, won a high-scoring contest at the Wankhede, after an unbeaten 78 from Rishabh Pant and 40s from Shikhar Dhawan and Colin Ingram helped them post 213 and subsequently win by 37 runs. MI produced a much better bowling performance the second time these two teams met, restricting the Capitals to 128 in their 20 Overs and win by 40 runs.

Although Mumbai Indians have gone on to win 4 IPL titles since its inauguration while DC have failed to make even the finals for once, the head-to-head record between these two teams is surprisingly close, with both teams winning 12 matches each against each other.

Both teams are unlikely to make any changes to their playing XI. The fact that they have the perfect combination of players is evident from their places in the points table.
