Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni showed off his bowling skills as he dismissed his team’s premier all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja during a net session at the sidelines of the UAE leg of IPL 2021.

Dhoni rolled his arms and bowled a loopy off-spin delivery to get Jadeja out bowled after the left-hand batter went for a wild swing through the on-side.

The India and CSK legend completely deceived Jadeja in the air before his impressive delivered disturbed the batter’s leg-stump.

Jadeja was too early into his shot and thus ended up missing the ball from Dhoni.

Immediately after the dismissal, Dhoni could be seen raising his hands in celebrations. He later even smiled at Jadeja, rubbing the fact that he had gotten the wicket of one of his team’s in-form batters of the ongoing IPL 2021.

Dhoni has a lot to feel pleased about CSK’s performance in the tournament so far. The three-time champions have been a team rejuvenated this year after suffering a disastrous first-round exit in IPL 2020 – their first in IPL’s history.

CSK on Thursday (September 30) became the first team to secure their playoffs berth, defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) quite easily in Sharjah. The win helped them further consolidate their top position in the points table, with nine wins and two losses from eleven games.

MS Dhoni and company next face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Abu Dhabi on Saturday (October 2).
