After his moment of fame at Lord’s, Jarvo, the pitch invader, was back with his antics on Day 3 of the third England-India Test match at Headingley this Friday (August 27). The English fan, who has gained immense popularity over social media through his act of invasion in the previous Test, was once again in his elements.

Wearing the replica of the Indian Test match jersey, Jarvo befooled the security guards present at the stadium and reached amongst the players standing the near playing arena.

Jarvo once again invaded the playing arena in the England-India Test series.

The incident is from the 48th over of the Indian second-innings. The moment India’s opening batsman Rohit Sharma got out after a well-compiled knock of 59, Jarvo started walking inside the ground.

Amusingly, he was wearing his full gear – the pads, the gloves and the helmet – when he reached the pitched and started marking his guard at one of the two ends.

England players and India’s No.3 Cheteshwar Pujara looked on as Jarvo began preparing for the start of ‘innings’.

But just then, the security guards realised what has transpired and immediately got around him.

The three intervening security personnel grabbed hold of him and tried to force him off the ground while Jarvo, again, tried to convince them of his Indian allegiance.

Those were hilarious scenes for the jam-packed crowd present at the stadium in Leeds. But at the same time, a cause of genuine worry for the guards as this was a second instance in two Tests when Jarvo has managed to breach the on-ground security.
