WATCH: Mumbai Indians bench player takes outrageous juggling catch in practice session

The Indian Premier League is less than a week from recommencement and Mumbai Indians, who will be playing the first game of the second phase against MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings, have kick-started their practice sessions. Mumbai Indians, the five-time champions of this competition, are definitely in contention for a third in a row, and having already done it in the UAE last time, they will be confident of pulling through once again.

Their social media handles give you a proper account of their practice sessions, which seem to be going exceedingly well. As a part of their fielding sessions, a video that emerged earlier this morning seems to be grabbing a lot of traction. Yudhvir Singh, who was bought for his base price in the 2021 auction, took a splendid catch diving to his left in the fielding sessions with some imperious juggling involved in the process.

Yudhvir dived wide to his left during a one-on-one catching session, but the ball didn’t stick in the first attempt. Just as it collided his palm and was falling down, Yudhvir managed to retreat his trailing right hand and grabbed a stunning catch. Krunal Pandya, who was right behind him in the video, was seemingly awestruck by this catch and applauded the 23-year-old from Hyderabad.

Here’s the video of that catch by Yudhvir Singh.

Mumbai Indians currently 4th on the table

By their incredibly high standards, the Mumbai Indians fans must’ve felt not at ease with their side’s start. In their first four games, they won two and lost two games, but just as they were picking up some momentum, the tournament got suspended abruptly. They are currently fourth on the table with 4 wins and 3 defeats.

Unlike some of the other teams, most of their primary squad members are expected to arrive in the UAE and they have made no other signings since their last game this season.
