Nathon Lyon, veteran off-spinner for the Australian team has been added to Australia’s T20 squad for the remaining two T20Is against India. Green will join the Australia A team which will play a warm-up match against India-A, starting from Sunday.

Nathon Lyon has not played a single T20I in the past two years, having last played against Pakistan in October 2018. The off-spinner is also expected to play a vital role in Australia’s test series against India later in the month.

Australia are already chasing a deficit in the three match T20 series, going 1-0 down after losing the first T20I after brilliant performances from Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja. Even before the match started, Ashton Agar was ruled out due to a calf injury and Mitchell Swepson was called in as his replacement.
