The Netherlands Cricket Board have announced the upcoming men’s International fixtures against Denmark and Scotland. The four time ODI World Cup participants will first host Denmark for two One Day Internationals and a solitary T20I from the 18th to the 20th of August.
They are supposed to host Scotland for two T20Is and ODIs each after that, from the 24th to the 28th of August, but Cricket Scotland tweeted that the matches have not been agreed upon.
While unable to complete any internationals, the junior sides will compete in intra-squad fixtures, whilst the women’s team will play against the boys’ Under-16 side.
Netherlands had an eventful summer of Cricket planned before the COVID-19 pandemic struck. The men’s team were to play a T20 International against New Zealand on home turf. Then, they were to host Oman, USA and Namibia in an ODI quad-series. They were also scheduled 3 ODIs against Pakistan, the latter as part of the Cricket World Cup Super League. The Women’s team were set to travel to Sri Lanka for the Women’s World Cup qualifier prior to its postponement.
