Pakistan Super League 2021 draft has been completed and all the franchises have picked up some very talented and experienced cricketers. The upcoming season of the PSL will begin on the 20th of February and end on March 22nd. All six franchises are taking part and all of them have got some great squads. Quetta Gladiators have been the two-time finalists before finally winning the competition in 2019. Unfortunately, last year was the worst in their history as they failed to qualify for the knockout stages. But nevertheless, the team that they have got this year can more than likely get a shot once again at the PSL trophy.

First and foremost, talking about the captain of QG, then it’s the former all-format captain of Pakistan, Sarfaraz Ahmed. Now taking a look at the opening pair of the team, then undoubtedly it is the most destructive one in the competition, maybe alongside Islamabad United. QG has got the highest run-scorer in the T20 format, the Universe Boss, Chris Gayle. Along with Gayle, the right-handed Somerset, and England opener, Tom Banton will open the innings. Both of them have one thing in mind while walking out to bat, and that is to dismantle the bowling line-up of the opposition.
Looking at the middle order of the team, we have players like Azam Khan, Cameron Delport, SaimAyub, and obviously the captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed. Moreover, there are all-rounders like Anwar Ali, Mohammad Nawaz, and the Australian, Ben Cutting, to finish the innings with momentum.

Besides, the team has got a young fast bowling attack with Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain in the squad. On the positive side, Umar Gul is the bowling coach of the team.
