Bangladesh Legends are the newly added team to compete in the Road World Safety Series 2020-21. The decision to introduce them was taken after Australia Legends opted out of the tournament owing to travel restrictions. Khaled Mahmud will lead the Bangladesh Legends in the Road Safety World Series 2020-21.
Khaled’s men will open their campaign against their Asian rivals, India Legends on March 5 before they face England Legends on March 7. Bangladesh Legends will play all of their five league encounters this year.

Key Players for Bangladesh Legends
Khaled Mahmud, the Bangladesh Legends skipper will lead the bowling attack for the Asian side. Back in his playing days, the pacer picked up 77 wickets in his 67 ODI outings and was one of the regular players in the Bangladesh squad in the early 2000s. Mahmud’s four-over spell will prove to be very crucial for his side.
Mohammad Rafique, one of the legends of Bangladesh cricket will take the field in the Road Safety World Series. He was part of the squad that shocked India in the 2007 ICC World Cup group stage encounter. The left arm orthodox bowler will look forward to work his magic with the ball once again.
Abdur Razzak is the second highest wicket-taker for Bangladesh in ODI cricket and is hailed as a legend of Bangladesh cricket. Razzak will bowl in tandem with his spin counterpart, Rafique and the duo are expected to wreck havoc at the tournament.
