In a hilarious moment after the Mumbai Indians against Punjab Kings clash on Tuesday, Rohit Sharma, at the post-match presentation ceremony stunned Harsha Bhogle when he announced the Man of the Match award on behalf of the presenter.

Harsha was in conversation with Rohit after the game and talked about the impact of Kieron Pollard in the match. The all-rounder had made a telling contribution with the ball, picking up the wickets of Chris Gayle and KL Rahul in the same over, immediately after the Powerplay.

He then went on to be an important part in the unbeaten 45-run stand with Hardik Pandya, making 15 off seven balls as Mumbai Indians romped home by six wickets.

Asked about Pollard, Rohit acknowledged his impact in the game, ending by stating that Pollard will be “happy to win the Man [Player] of the Match” for his bowling”.
