SA v IND: The first Test between India and South Africa at the Supersport Park, Centurion, has already seen one day get washed out due to rain and there is a good possibility for that to happen on Day 5. If weather reports are to be believed, thunderstorms and heavy showers are expected in Centurion from early in the morning.

Although the weather forecast after 1 pm suggests there will be scattered thunderstorms, it could be enough to keep the players out of the ground. With the Test poised in such a good position, it would be a shame for it to be sacrificed without a result, but it looks like both sides are heading towards a stalemate.

After witnessing some decent cricket on Day 1, which finished with KL Rahul getting a century and India remaining on top of the Test match, the rain gods denied any action on Day 2, which seemed to have had an adverse effect on the pitch conditions. There has been some extra bit of pace and bounce on the pitch since then, and Day 3 saw the fall of 18 wickets, the most in a single day in the history of Supersport Park.

India garnered a 130-run lead in the first innings and is in a position to set an unachievable target for the hosts, but their ambitions could get dashed if the weather forecasts do come true.
