IPL 2021 | Glenn Maxwell, Chris Morris and other big names released by teams ahead of IPL Auctions

Steve Smith, Lasith Malinga, Glenn Maxwell and Chris Morris are among the star players that have been released by their respective franchises ahead of the IPL 2021 auction that will take place in February. Royal Challengers Bangalore released 10 players and on the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders have released only five players.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB released 10 players, including 5 foreigners. The Bangalore side will be without Parthiv Patel who retired from all forms of cricket and Dale Steyn who has made himself unavailable for the tournament. In an all-cash deal, Bangalore have brought in Daniel Sams and Harshal Patel from the Delhi Capital.
