London Spirit have one of the strongest squads in both men’s and women’s department, heading into the inaugural edition of The Hundred. The Spirits will be led by England’s World Cup winning captains, Eoin Morgan and Heather Knight.

The Spirit retained most of their squad and had just two places to fill in the recently concluded draft. They acquired the services of the England all-rounder, Ravi Bopara and Chris Wood to boost their squad. The women’s squad saw the sole addition of English opener, Tammy Beaumont.

Eoin Morgan, the English captain will once again assume his captaincy duties and lead the London Spirit in The Hundred. Morgan’s contributions from the middle order will be important for his side’s chances in the tournament this year. More importantly, in Morgan, the Spirit’s have acquired the services of one of the best captains in the world at the moment.

Heather Knight

Heather Knight will lead the women’s team

Heather Knight, the English World Cup winning captain will lead the women’s team. Just like his male counterpart, Knight has a knack of scoring runs coming in at number three or four. Her experience as a captain and the quality she possesses will certainly be important.

Deandra Dottin

Deandra Dottin will have an important role to play with the bat

Deandra Dottin, the West Indian all-rounder is another player who can turn around matches for her side, both with the bat and the ball. The 29 year old has represented West Indies in 118 T20Is, scoring 2833 runs and picking up 61 wickets so far.
