Oval Invincibles made a few additions to their squad ahead of the inaugural edition of The Hundred, later this year. The Invincibles brought in South African batsman, Colin Ingram, Saqib Mahmood and an all-rounder in Jordan Clark. The women’s squad saw the addition of the Australian batsman, Rachael Haynes and English spinner Mady Villiers.

Oval Invincibles boast of a strong squad in both men’s and women’s departments. The Curran brothers, Jason Roy, Sunil Narine are some top players in the men’s team, whereas Dane van Niekerk and Rachael Haynes are the key members of the women’s team.

Sam Curran will be key member in the Invincibles squad this year

Sam Curran, the younger of the two Curran brothers has made quite a name for himself in the past few years. The all-rounder had a terrific IPL 2020 season where he made vital contributions for Chennai Super Kings, both with the bat and ball. The 22 year old Englishman is certainly a key player for the Oval Invincibles, given his ability to turn around matches for his team in both departments.

Jason Roy

Jason Roy will be seen leading the charge at the top of the order for the Oval Invincibles

Jason Roy, the English opener is another vital member of the Invincibles squad. Roy has played 38 T20Is for England and has scored 890 runs at an incredible strike rate of over 140. His explosive knocks from the top of the order will certainly be an important factor in the Invincibles season this year.

Dane van Niekerk

Dane van Niekerk is the South African captain

Dane van Niekerk, captain of the South Africa women’s team is another experienced player in the Invincibles squad. She has demonstrated her skills with both the bat and ball in her playing career. She has represented her nation in 102 ODIs and 83 T20Is.
