Vijay Hazare Trophy: MEG vs UT Dream11 Fantasy Cricket Tips, Playing XI, Pitch Report, Team And Preview

Round XIII of the Plate Group pits the unbeaten Uttarakhand side against a formidable Meghalaya side in one of the marquee clashes on Friday. Uttarakhand has 18 points from six games and is yet to lose a game. Although Meghalaya has lost a game, they aren’t far with 16 points. Uttarakhand has their spin bowlers to thank for with Rahil Shah leading the line. While Meghalaya also possesses a potent bowling unit, it is their batting that has done most of the damage. With the match taking place at the scenic Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Dehradun, both sides would look towards getting the four points to themselves with a place in the knockouts beckoning for either side.

Weather Report:

The weather is all clear for this game although it wasn’t the case in the previous game at this very ground and city. There should be some swing on offer due to the cloudy conditions at the ground on Thursday with the temperatures bound to be in the 20s

Pitch Report:

Although the ground has only played host to a couple of low scoring games, it is a good batting track. While the seamers will be the key with the new ball, spinners will also come into play as the game progresses.

Predicted Playing XI:

Meghalaya:

Meghalaya themselves come into this game on the back of a stunning 177 run win over Mizoram. Captain, Raj Biswa and Puneet Bisht are in very good form while the presence of Dwaraka Ravi Teja at number seven gives an idea of the batting strength they possess. Their bowling unit has done the job on more than one occasion in spite of lacking any established names. Sanjay Yadav and Swarajeet Das will be the key with both bat and ball heading into this crucial game.
Raj Biswa(C), Sylvester Mylliempdah, Swarajeet Das, Puneet Bisht (WK), Sanjay Das, Abhay Negi, Amiangshu Sen, Ravi Teja, Aditya Singhania, Dippu Sangma and Akash Choudhary

Uttarakhand:

Uttrakhand has a very balanced side in its ranks. In Karn Beer Kaushal, Unmukt Chand and Tanmay Srivastava, they have a very talented trio of batsmen who have already made a mark in this year’s Vijay Hazare Trophy. Their depth in batting is also quite commendable with Rahil Shah and Negi doubling up as spin bowling allrounders. One to watch out for in this game would be Dhanraj Sharma, who is capable of clearing the boundary with ease along with his ability to swing the new ball.
Karn Veer Kaushal, Unmukt Chand (C), Tanmay Srivastava, Avneesh Sudha, Saurabh Rawat (WK), Rahil Shah, Dikshanshu Negi, Pradeep Chamoli, Dhanraj Sharma, Aditya Sethi and Ashish Chaudhary.

Top Picks:

Puneet Bisht and Unmukt Chand are in very good form this year with a couple of 50+ scores to their credit. Along with the aforementioned duo, former U-19 star, Tanmay Srivastava is also a viable option. Karn Veer Kaushal was one of the breakout stars of 2018 with 489 runs in the previous Vijay Hazare Trophy.  Two Meghalaya allrounders in Swarajeet Das and Sanjay Yadav are also preferred considering their form. Former Tamil Nadu spinner, Rahil Shah and Singhania should round the team off for this fantasy contest.
