Both Railways and Rajasthan haven’t fared really well in the tournament so far. They are placed in the bottom-end of their points table with Railways having secured one victory in four matches so far. However, Rajasthan are in an even worse position as they have been defeated in each of the five encounters that they have taken part in. Based on their current run of form, it is difficult to claim even one of them to be considered as the favorites to emerge triumphant in this match.
Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019
Jaipuria Vidyalaya Ground
October 6th, 2019
9:00 AM IST
Clear weather with merely 5% chances of rain and the temperature ranging around 23 degrees Celsius is expected during the course of the game.
The pitch as the Vijdyalaya Ground is flat, conducive to the batsmen and would barely support the pacers. The spinners might be able to extract some benefit out of it as the track wears down when the match progresses.
Predicted Playing XI:
Mahipal Lomror would be given the responsibility to stitch together the batting unit whilst Ashok Menaria would be banked upon to provide the late flourish in the fag end of the innings. Aniket Choudhary and Deepak Choudhary would be the crucial bowlers along with Rahul Chahar who would hope to scalp a wicket our two in the middle-overs.
Amitkumar Gautam, Chetan Bist [wk], Mahipal Lomror [c], Arjit Gupta, Rajesh Bishnoi, Ashok Menaria, Deepak Chahar, Rahul Chahar, Abhimanyu Lamba, Ravi Bishnoi, Aniket Choudhary
Mrunal Devdhar, Ashish Sehrawat and Arindam Ghosh are the three important batsmen in Railways’ top order. Karn Sharma has been prolific in the domestic circuit, who can contribute well with the bat too in addition to his immense skills with the ball.
Mrunal Devdhar, Pratham Singh, Ashish Sehrawat, Arindam Ghosh [c], Dinesh Mor [wk], Karn Sharma, Pradeep T, Harsh Tyagi, Karthik Raman, Himanshu Sangwan, Vikrant Rajput
Mahipal Lomror, as a testament to his talent played a brisk innings of 71 runs against Bengal in his team’s last match. He bats at top of the order, and played in the recently concluded Duleep Trophy as well. Surely, the young lad is in the reckoning of the national selectors who want to try him out at different levels of domestic circuit. One can expect him to play well tomorrow. Rahul Chahar is an exciting wicket-taking option to possess and he scalped two of them in their previous match as well. He should make his way into the Dream XI side. Deepak Chahar has done reasonably well for the national team in the T20I circuit from the West Indies tour onward, as his reputation has enhanced as a pacer. He, too, should be included in the fantasy team.
