Pavel Florin, a famous Romania international cricketer, gave his fans another moment to rejoice and remember on a cricket field.

Known for his spirit, enthusiasm and unwavering love for the sport, Florin was involved in an amusing incident during one ECS T10 game recently.

Playing for Bucharest Gladiators against team Banaesa, the 42-year-old cricketer celebrated his wicket in a rarely witnessed fashion.

As it happened, Florin went about his uniquely built, completely uncoached bowling action and delivered a loopy short ball on the matting wicket used for the game.

But somehow, rather than sitting up to be hit, the ball got slightly too big on the batsman, who ended up skying the ball up and giving an easy catch to the wicketkeeper.

The moment the catch was taken, Pavel Florin didn’t celebrate and instead started running in full steam towards the commentary box on the sidelines.

Once he reached there, Florin was handed the mic as he shouted his team’s name on the screen in incredible passion. It was a moment that perhaps summed up the man, who continues to play his beloved game even as he goes deeper into the forties.
