WATCH: Batter hits six sixes to complete run-chase in 10 balls in 5-over game in ECL

Muhammad Babar of Pak I Care Badalona went berserk during Match 19 of the European Cricket League (ECL) Championship Week against Brigade on Friday, March 18. The right-hander scored 36 runs off eight balls with the help of six sixes and took his team over the line. After being asked to chase 45, the Badalona made an absolute mockery of the opposition bowlers.

In the first over of the chase, the Badalona scored 38 runs. While four of those came off leg byes, bowler Jack Hall bowled three no-balls and a wide. Babar scored 30 of the runs off seven balls. One of the no-balls Hall bowled went for a colossal six out of the park.

He finished the game after smashing Ewan Wilson for a big six down the ground. In the first ball of the over, Mohammad Yasin took a single to give Babar the strike. Babar’s carnage helped the Badalona chase down the target with 22 balls to spare.

Here’s the video of the batters going berserk in the ECL game

After electing to bat first, the Brigade could never get going. In five overs, they could only score 44 runs for the loss of four wickets. Skipper Andrew Britton top-scored for them with a 12-ball knock of 16, laced with one four and one six. David Barr also made a quickfire four-ball 12 with one six.

While David Murdock failed to open his account, Ryan MacBeth and Ryan Barr got out in single-digit scores. Hassan Ali was the pick of the bowlers for Badalona as he accounted for two crucial wickets and gave away 11 runs in the only over he bowled.

Atif Muhammad and Muhammad Mohtshim picked up one wicket apiece. In fact, Atif Muhammad conceded only one run off his over. Adeel Shafqat was a tad expensive as he leaked 17 runs. Babar bowled a solitary over without picking up a wicket. Later, Babar came out firing on all cylinders and took Badalona to victory in a canter.
