Mohammad Huraira joins Javed Miandad in an elite list

With his remarkable performance, young Mohammad Huraira joined an elite list that features only Pakistan great Javed Miandad other than him.

Huraira is now the second-youngest Pakistan batter to score a triple hundred in first-class cricket behind Miandad, who achieved this landmark at the age of only 17 in 1975.

Miandad played his knock for Karachi Whites against National Bank and took a giant leap towards wearing a Test cap for Pakistan.

Here is a clip of Mohammad Huraira reaching the great feat:

Huraira earned rich praise from the Pakistan cricket community for his landmark performance, with former skipper Shoaib Malik saying he is “very proud” of the young talent. Malik wished the youngster well for his future and urged him to keep working hard at his game.

Mohammad Huraira has made an excellent start to his first-class career at the domestic level for Northern Pakistan. The right-hand batter has played 10 first-class games with 878 runs at an average of 58.53 with three hundreds and three half-centuries.
