BCCI released a promo ahead of India’s day-night Test match against Sri Lanka at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday. The Indians, leading 1-0 in the series after the thumping win in the first Test, were seen practicing hard near the center wicket ahead of the match.

The visuals show players doing their training, running, batting and bowling and also had glimpses of the training routine with Rahul Dravid, the head coach, giving the slip cordon of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli some catching practice.

Virat Kohli was stationed at first slip near Rishabh Pant in the visual shown in the video, while Rohit Sharma was in the second slip. Dravid was seen gliding one down to the cordon in typical old-fashioned style with Rohit diving to his left to complete a catch.

The visuals also show the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel practicing with the ball and the likes of Mayank Agarwal, Shreyas Iyer, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant sweating it out with the bat.

India play their fourth day-night Test, and second at home since the 2019 Test against Bangladesh. They have won two of the three Tests – against Bangladesh and England. They lost the Adelaide Test in Australia in 2020, their only loss in a day-night Test match so far.
