A colourful character from Afghanistan, experienced cricketer Mohammad Shahzad was famously seen dancing on the field and entertaining a packed crowd at home.
Fielding near the ropes during an exhibition match played last year, Shahzad went on a dancing spree to the traditional music played on the ground.
A pair of musicians started to play the old harmonium at the stadium during a break and the ever-amusing Afghan wicketkeeper-batter immediately started dancing to their tunes.
Initially, Mohammad Shahzad did the traditional Afghani folk dance to harmonium but then quickly mixed it with some Bollywood freestyle dancing steps as well, while the crowd present in the stadium joined in the fun.

A clip of the hilarious incident dating back April 2021 went viral over social media, grabbing the attention of cricket fans worldwide. Fielding at the boundary ropes, Mohammad Shahzad unabashedly unveiled his dancing skills.

A free-spirited cricketer, who is usually seen entertaining the crowds with his funny remarks from behind the stumps, Shahzad chose to do so on this occasion from near the ropes and did the funniest of dance steps to the music played at the stadium.
This, of course, is not the first time Shahzad, an uncensored and outspoken personality, has entertained the fans with his words or actions on the cricket field. The cricketer has often got the fans laughing with his interesting comments in press interactions, including a remark that a strict diet is hardly necessary if he can hit the ball out of the park.
Mohammad Shahzad’s batting style mimics his personality, as the aggressive right-hand batter looks to blast the opposition bowling units to all parts. The 34-year-old has hit over 400 maximums in competitive cricket in his career so far and will be hoping to add more to his kitty by the time he calls it quits.
