WI-W vs TL-W Dream11 Fantasy Preview and Prediction:

The T20 World Cup campaign for the West Indies and Thailand will begin early as the two teams will take on each other at the W.A.C.A on Saturday. It will be a historic occasion for Thailand as they will play their first match in a Cricket World Cup.

These two teams, West Indies and Thailand didn’t get off to a great start on the Aussie shores as they lost their respective warm-up games against India and New Zealand. While Thailand were obviously going to struggle against New Zealand, West Indies would be disappointed that they lost by a slender 2-run margin against India. After the West Indian bowlers put on a fantastic show to restrict to a paltry 107-8, only Lee-Ann Kirby and Hayley Matthews batted decently while their team-mates fell like a pack of cards.

With respect to this match on Saturday, West Indies will obviously be huge favourites to come up with a convincing win. The likes of Hayley Matthews, Stafanie Taylor and Deandra Dottin could all fill their boots against a talented yet inexperienced Thailand outfit.

Weather Conditions

Inclement weather was pretty common during the warm-up games and it looks like there is a considerable rain threat for this game too. The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted a 50% chance for rain on Saturday.

Pitch Report

The 2019 Women’s Big Bash League threw up a lot of different tracks at the W.A.C.A as there were equal number of high-scoring and low-scoring matches. Batting first was the preferred mode of winning during the tournament and the captain who wins the toss tomorrow might opt for the same. Given it’s the first game at this venue in this World Cup, a pretty decent batting wicket could be on offer.

Probable Playing XI

West Indies Women

Britney Cooper/Chedean Nation, Lee-Ann Kirby, Hayley Matthews, Stafanie Taylor (C), Deandra Dottin, Chinelle Henry, Shemaine Campbell (WK), Anisa Mohammed, Afy Fletcher, Shakera Selman, Shamilia Connell

WI-W vs TL-W Dream11 Fantasy Picks:

West Indies Women

Stafanie Taylor: The World’s No.9 batswomen and No.7 all-rounder Stafanie Taylor will definitely be a key pick for this match. Taylor was in scintillating form during the ODIs against India last year but a ligament injury saw her missing out on the T20I series. In the warm up match against India, Taylor scored 16 runs in addition to picking up the wicket of Taniya Bhatia.

Anisa Mohammed: The classical off-spinner Anisa Mohammed who is also the world’s leading wicket-taker in T20I history is another one who could score a lot of points against Thailand. Anisa also bowled superbly against India the warm-up game.

Thailand Women

Nattakan Chantam: Thailand’s best batswoman by some distance, Nattakan Chantam will be a pretty safe pick. Chantam comes into this tournament on the back of a couple of fifties during a Quadrangular series in India which also featured the Bangladesh national team.

Chanida Sutthiruang: Although Thailand’s strike-bowler Chanida Sutthiruang couldn’t do too well with the ball against New Zealand in the warm-up game, the 26-year-old still managed to impress with her 36-run knock.

WI-W vs TL-W Dream11 Fantasy Captaincy Choices:
