Yuzvendra Chahal is a hilarious man off the field and his antics are often a major talking point during or after the game. During the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals, there was a question displayed for the viewers on who should be batting at number 3 for the side. The options were KS Bharat, AB de Villiers and Glenn Maxwell.

The camera crew quickly shifted the attention to Yuzvendra Chahal in the dugout, who was having a conversation with his teammates. Glenn Maxwell was right behind Chahal and perhaps they were talking about the question that was displayed on the television screens. Chahal noticed he was on the screen and pointed that he should be playing at number three for the Bangalore side.

Simon Doull in the commentary box had already said on a lighter note that he would vote for Yuzvendra Chahal. A couple of seconds after he said that, Chahal indicated with his signals that he should play at number 3. The commentary panel including Sunil Gavaskar and Doull burst into laughter, so did Glenn Maxwell in the background.

Yuzvendra Chahal might not ideally by their number three solution, but as it stands, it looks like RCB will persist with the free-flowing KS Bharat in that position, who has shown promise. Here’s the video of that moment where Chahal provided an answer for their number three conundrum.

Yuzvendra Chahal among the wickets in UAE

It has been a tough few weeks for Yuzvendra Chahal, who did not find a place in the Indian World T20 squad. Having spent so much time in the side as their primal option among leg-spinners, Chahal’s horrible recent run denied him a place and the likes of Rahul Chahar and Varun Chakravarthy sneaked through.

However, he has managed to pick up some form after coming to the UAE and has proven to be a tough nut to crack in the second leg. He picked up 11 wickets thus far in the tournament this season and chipped in with a sensational 2/18 today.
