Match details of SA vs AUS Dream11 Fantasy Contest:
South Africa vs Australia
Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg
February 21st, 2020
9.30 PM IST
SA vs AUS Dream11 Fantasy Preview and Prediction:
South Africans in their transition phase are figuring out a way towards glory days under the new leadership of Quinton de Kock. The T20I series against England might’ve been heartbreaking, but that came as a bit of a respite with the side showing up with a much-stronger spine. Australians are beginning to exert their dominance in the shortest format and they couldn’t have asked for a better time than this.
Some scattered thunderstorms are expected on Friday across Johannesburg and these showers could halt the game. Temperatures in this area could range from 17-27 degrees on the game day.
A beautiful batting track could be expected for the game. Yet, the scattered showers could add some moisture to the track and the outfield too could get a little slow. Any score in excess of 160 batting first could be match-winning.
Probable Playing XIs:
Quinton de Kock (C & WK), JJ Smuts, Faf du Plessis, Rassie van der Dussen, Henrich Klaasen, David Miller, Andile Phehlukwayo, Tabraiz Shamsi, Kagiso Rabada, Dale Steyn, Lungi Ngidi
David Warner, Aaron Finch (C), Steve Smith, D’Arcy Short, Alex Carey (WK), Mitchell Marsh, Ashton Agar, Adam Zampa, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Kane Richardson
SA vs AUS Dream11 Fantasy Picks:
Quinton de Kock: The skipper is leading by example and has been amassing runs for fun. He scored 380 runs against England in the Tests, 187 runs in 3 ODIs and gave it a strong whack in the T20Is as well. Needless to say, he is the top choice for captaincy.
Lungi Ngidi: The speedster has been a bit expensive lately, but is picking up wickets in the death. He could be one of the differential picks in the side. He picked up 8 wickets in the recently concluded T20I series against England.
David Warner: Having just received the Allan Border medal for an exceptional comeback year in 2019, David Warner is more pumped up than ever before. He is a top choice for the multiplier role.
Mitch Marsh: The younger of the Marsh brothers could be one of the punt picks in this game. He had an outstanding BBL for the Scorchers and was recalled to the national side. He registered 382 runs with the bat and was great with the ball as well.
